Coach Rhobs welcomes new FFLA players during the first play session held at Sagkahan High.
Tacloban City – Steadfast in its commitment to deliver experiential learning, through football, to schools and communities, FundLife International extends the reach of its flagship programme, FFLA, to the students and players of Sagkahan National High School (SNHS). On 9 January 2018, FFLA Coaches Rhobs and John Rex, conducted the first play session in its new partner school; welcoming current players from Brgy. Caibaan, an FFLA community site, as well as new players to the programme.
FundLife - At the beginning of May, Football 4 Life welcomed Nora, a head coach trainer from Coaches Across Continents (CAC) to lead a 4-days Coaches Training Seminar in Leyte Normal University, Tacloban. This seminar was quite a success with happy and engaged participants, having fun playing and learning altogether. We had an opportunity to better understand the goal and content of this seminar thanks to Nora that has accepted to answer our questions.
Coaches Across Continents - Most people have only heard of Tacloban, Philippines because of Typhoon Haiyan (called Yolanda in the Philippines) which struck on November 8th, 2013. It was one of the strongest tropical typhoons ever recorded to strike a populated area with the official death toll reaching well over 6,000.
