To combat the spread of COVID-19, Cebu City, the Philippines most urbanised metropolis after Manila, has been placed under strict community quarantine. The lockdown has left the most vulnerable communities struggling for food – community-led volunteers are leading efforts to help.

FundLife Founder, Marko Kasic attended SIGEF 2019 in Tokyo, Japan on September 18-19 to share the work of FundLife during the Sport for Good Session.
Speaking alongside leaders from the Sports Sector, Marko shared FundLife’s involvement with Common Goal, a football-led global philanthropic movement where players, managers and football clubs pledge to donate 1% of their wages to community organisations using sport for social change.
To introduce the use of Football for inclusive communities and contribute to the achievement of good educational outcome, FundLife International in partnership with Gawad Kalinga facilitated Play for Peace: Training of Trainers on June 3 – 4 at Pagatpat Elementary School, Cagayan De Oro City and June 5-6 at Malaybalay, Bukidnon.
