The agreement will impact an additional 10,000 children to receive football-based, non-formal learning sessions and support them to access quality and holistic education. Moreover, as part of the agreement, FundLife will continue and pilot its ‘Champion Curriculum’ as part of the the F4L Academy learning modules.
Commenting on the agreement, FundLife's founder Marko Kasic said, "Securing the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children is a crucial step for us in ensuring that the vitally important work we are doing can continue to positively impact the lives of so many children – we are visibly delighted and look forward immensely to share the news with our children and young leaders”
The UEFA Foundation for Children was established on the initiative of the UEFA President, Michel Platini, reflecting UEFA’s desire to play a more active role in society.
The foundation aims to help children and safeguard their rights. Sport, and football in particular, can provide support in the areas of health and children’s education, as well as promoting access to sporting activity, facilitating children’s personal development and fostering the integration of minorities.
The UEFA Foundation for Children joins existing FundLife's strategic partners, including FIFA Football for Hope, Shell Foundation Philippines, and Delimondo Philippines.
