Every child and young person needs a safe and supportive environment where they can learn without fear.
We firmly believe that if young people realise their full potential, they must be given an enabling environment that permits them to thrive and not simply survive.
We work with businesses, civil society and government to identify, support and build safe spaces for children to play, learn and develop their potential. Alongside access to play, we believe communities must have access to quality education, affordable health, social services and dignified livelihoods.
Our infrastructure stream is core to transferring agency to youth and women through a community-owned enterprise model.
Since its inception, FundLife has made the creation of safe spaces a key priority for every community it works with. Our impact in this area includes;
Rehabilitation of 6 dilapidated spaces for children in Leyte
Building of the Generation Amazing Centre in Tacloban, a 1,200 Square metre integrated learning and play centre that will be accessible to over 7,000 young people internally displaced by Super-Typhoon Haiyan.
We are grateful to our strategic and development partners that have supported our infrastructure projects. Beyond creating physical spaces, we place community engagement, ownership and responsibility at the centre of all new-build projects.
Partners who have helped us deliver transformational spaces for communities include:
Supreme Committee for the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar
Pilipinas Shell Foundation
