On August 24, a Capacity Building on Mental Health and Purposeful Play was conducted by FundLife for the 33 teachers and 24 student leaders of Granja-Kalinawan National High School in Jaro, Leyte.
The training aimed to strengthen the mental health awareness of educators and student leaders to cope with stress brought about by the transition of the current educational set-up and different external stressors. The goal is to demonstrate ways to use purposeful play and sports for social impact to improve the teaching-learning process.
The training is also part of the support FundLife committed to the Education sector to support its programs such as Brigada Eskwela, which marks the start of every school year. The classes for SY 2022-2023 started on August 22, 2022.
