FundLife successfully delivered the Dream Packs to 279 Children and Youth from vulnerable communities in Northern Tacloban and Palo, Leyte.
The Dream Packs which contain learning materials, hygiene kits, toys and home exercise equipment will help the children and youth alleviate their existing problems amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The coaches, youth mentors, and FundLife staff delivered the Dream Packs to the following communities; Habitat for Humanity Village, Coreville, Aeroville, SOS Children's village, UNDP village, Lion's Village, Ridgeview Park, GMA Kapuso Village, Brgy. Suhi, San Isidro, and Brgy. Libertad, Palo, Leyte.
Aside from the distribution, the children from Libertad, Ridgeview and San Isidro received Christmas prizes (chocolates and candies) for showing exemplary attitude and behaviour during the Community Learning Space (CLS) classes and Community-based Sessions.
The distribution activity will also mark the closing of all field activities e.g Mentorship and Community-based Sessions of FundLife for the year 2021 and will reopen again in the 2nd week of January 2022.
Come January 2022, FundLife will be delivering another 128 Dream Packs to reach more vulnerable children and youth.
