Cebu City – Following the success of the Generation Amazing Cup held in Cebu, FundLife International and Giuseppe Football Club formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement.
​On 05 August 2018, Sunday, FundLife and Giuseppe FC signed the MOA to establish a co-operative partnership for the implementation of the Football for Life Academy (FFLA) programme’s soft launch in Cebu City.
Present at the signing were FundLife International founder Marko Kasic, Stakeholder Engagement Specialist, Kim Lopez, and FFLA coaches and Generation Amazing Ambassadors Jhean and JP, and Giuseppe FC founders Odys and Mylene Suarez, and Rachel Genco.
The partnership will set in motion the plan to bring the FFLA to marginalized communities in Cebu, thus expanding the reach of the programme to as many underserved children and youth in the city.A FFLA senior coach will be stationed in Cebu to help Giuseppe FC in the implementation of the programme and oversee the development of the expansion.
Together, FundLife and Giuseppe FC will work on the framework for the design and delivery of the FFLA in Cebu, while communicating the benefits of sports activities, specifically football, in education, health and wellness, and personal and social development of children and youth.
