The Municipality of Dulag officially launched its 52nd Nutrition Month celebration on 11 July 2026 through a community initiative that demonstrated how improving nutrition extends beyond promoting healthy eating. Organised by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dulag in partnership with FundLife International, the 3K Community Run and Walk highlighted the importance of integrating physical activity, environmental stewardship, and household food security to support healthier communities.

Held at the Barangay San Miguel Covered Court under the national theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", the activity brought together 120 participants, comprising 82 women and 38 men, despite intermittent rainfall. Representatives from local government agencies, civil society organisations, youth groups, and families participated in the event, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing community health and nutrition.

For FundLife, the initiative aligns with its commitment to supporting child wellbeing by working alongside local governments and communities to address the broader factors that influence health. Beyond promoting active lifestyles, the organisation recognises that access to nutritious food, healthy environments, and strong community participation are essential to creating conditions where children and families can thrive.

The 3K Community Run and Walk formed part of a broader community mobilisation effort designed to translate awareness into practical action. Following the run, participants joined a coastal clean-up led by the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) of Barangay San Miguel. Volunteers collected eight sacks of plastic waste, leaves, and other debris from the shoreline and surrounding residential areas, contributing to a cleaner environment while reinforcing the link between environmental quality and public health.

The activity also included the distribution and planting of ten fruit-bearing tree saplings in the backyards of identified households with children experiencing malnutrition. By establishing food-producing trees directly within households, the initiative sought to strengthen long-term food security and improve access to nutritious food for vulnerable families. The approach demonstrates how environmental conservation can also serve as a practical strategy for addressing nutrition challenges at the community level.

The Nutrition Month kick-off reflects FundLife's broader approach to community development, which recognises that sustainable improvements in child wellbeing require coordinated action across multiple sectors. Through partnerships with local governments, community volunteers, and civil society organisations, FundLife continues to support initiatives that strengthen health, education, protection, and opportunities for children and their families.

Reflecting on the partnership, Ace C. Sadiua, RN, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer-Designate, said:

"In behalf of LGU Dulag, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to FundLife International for being our valued partner in the successful conduct of the 2026 Nutrition Month Kick-Off 3K Community Run and Walk. Your unwavering support and commitment made this activity truly meaningful. Without your partnership, this event would not have been as successful as it was. We deeply appreciate your trust and collaboration, and we look forward to more meaningful partnerships in the future. Maraming salamat, FundLife International! Together, we move towards a healthier and more nourished Dulag."

The initiative was supported by the Barangay Government and Sangguniang Kabataan of San Miguel, Dulag Municipal Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection, Dulag Traffic Enforcement and Management Office, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, and local partners including Rural Bank of Dulag, Dulag Agriculture Cooperative, Bless Wellness Spa, Bro Glass Center, and Kim's Bakery.

By integrating physical activity with environmental conservation and household food production, the initiative demonstrated how Nutrition Month can move beyond awareness campaigns to encourage practical, community-led action. Through sustained collaboration between local government, community stakeholders, and development partners, the activity contributed to advancing healthier environments, improved food security, and stronger support systems for children and families in Dulag.

BSC has a reputation for being risky, but that's partly because there are so many tokens to choose from. This checker helps cut through the noise by focusing on the specific contract patterns that have historically led to rug pulls on BSC. The page also includes a history of the token's liquidity locks, which is something I don't see in many other tools. It's not a guarantee, but it's a solid filter. For anyone trading BEP-20 tokens, this BSC-specific risk checker is a practical addition.

I think unusual terms work better when an article explains them in plain language. Singam heaf is a phrase I would want clarified before reading too much into it. A little context about the meaning and how the term is being used would make the subject easier to understand. Clear explanations like this are helpful because readers can follow the discussion without needing specialist knowledge.
