FundLife Boys Community League officially returns in 2026, once again bringing together young athletes from across Tacloban City for a three-month journey of sport, teamwork, and personal development.
The league launched on February 28, 2026, at the Generation Amazing Community Club in Brgy. 106 Sto. Niño, Tacloban City, in partnership with the Department of Education – Tacloban City Division. This year, 120 student-athletes are participating in the program, including 47 elementary players and 73 high school players representing nine schools across the city.
The opening day was marked by vibrant ceremonies, proud team introductions, a comprehensive league orientation, and dynamic futsal matches that set an inspiring tone for the season ahead. Families, coaches, and school representatives gathered to show their support, creating an atmosphere that celebrated not only competition, but also opportunity and community.
More than a tournament, the Boys Community League serves as a structured and protective space where young people are supported to grow both on and off the court. At FundLife, sport is a platform for transformation. Through consistent coaching, mentorship, and values-based activities, participants strengthen discipline, teamwork, emotional regulation, and leadership skills.
In close collaboration with DepEd Tacloban, the league aligns sport with education, reinforcing school attendance, positive behavior, and character development. This partnership ensures that student-athletes are not only developing their athletic abilities, but also building resilience, responsibility, and integrity that extend beyond the game.

As the 2026 season begins, FundLife renews its commitment to developing disciplined athletes, confident leaders, and responsible young citizens. Each training session and match becomes an opportunity to practice respect, perseverance, and teamwork.
For many of the boys, the Community League represents more than sport, it represents belonging, mentorship, and a safe environment where their potential is recognized and nurtured.
Through initiatives like the Boys Community League, FundLife continues to empower young people and strengthen communities across Eastern Visayas, one game, one lesson, and one leader at a time.
