Libertad Elementary School Renews Partnership with FundLife

FundLife and Libertad Elementary School signed a Memorandum of Agreement extending their partnership for another year. Currently, there are 41 students under the Football for Life Academy program who have been receiving support in the form of learning and mentorship sessions that use play-based learning principles and are meant to support the children’s lessons in the classroom.

According to Ms. Generene Enage, Teacher and School Focal Person, “We’ve seen the transformation of our students who are usually quiet in the classroom. After a few months with FundLife, we’ve observed that they become more confident. They participate in classroom activities more. Here (in our school), we call it the Fundlife magic.”`

In May 2023, some students will graduate from FundLife’s program and new students will be enrolled based on the recommendation of the teachers. Ma’am Vivelyn Lumaniog, School Head of Libertad Elementary School said “I am very glad that we can continue our partnership so that more students can benefit from your program.”

Six teachers from Libertad Elementary School were also invited to join the Capacity Building Trainings which were held on March 18-19 (Literacy and Philosophy for Children) and April 1 and 2 (Handling Differently-Abled Learners). “We are grateful to FundLife for extending this opportunity to our teachers,” Ma’am Lumaniog said during the signing of the MOA.
