Beyond Sports Awards 2015 concluded last 20 October in London, and it is a great achievement for us to have been shortlisted for the Best New Project Award.
Together with the other projects shortlisted for the awards, our work with Football for Life in Tacloban inspiringly exemplify how sports can constructively play an important role in addressing social issues, especially in the holistic development of the marginalized, disadvantaged, and excluded groups of our society.
In our attempt to change the ways of the world, especially in these difficult times, great courage is needed and courageous leadership is called for. Let our hopes and dreams not be hindered by our plight but use it as a powerful driving force in reaching them.
