FFLA Class of 2018: Recognition and Graduation Ceremony


Tacloban City – In recognition of their academic achievements and exemplary performance in the FFLA programme, FundLife International, through the Football for Life Academy (FFLA) programme, held a Recognition and Graduation Ceremony for the FFLA players from different partner schools and communities in and around the city.


Held at the Tacloban City Stand Alone 1 Senior High School, the FFLA team welcomed players and their parents, and guests from the Department of Education - Tacloban City Division.

A short program was prepared to present awards and medals to the players, deliver messages of encouragement, and present the FFLA accomplishment report for pilot schools: San Joaquin, Tanauan, and Palo.

Medals, certificates, and FFLA drawstring bags and other items were given to FFLA Most Outstanding Player awardees, Good Sport awardees, Persistence awardees, Most Respectful awardees, and Academic awardees to acknowledge the players’ good behavior, academic achievements, and commitment to the Football for Life programme.


FFLA coach Reuben Ranille gave the opening remarks, followed by a message from guest speaker, Dr. Thelma Quitalig, Schools Division Superintendent, Tacloban City.


From the FFLA team, we thank everyone for coming and hope that the next school year be once again filled with playing, dreaming, believing, and achieving!
