FundLife International, and its flagship programme Football for Life (F4L), has been chosen as the 2017 winner of the ISPO ‘Brand New’ Award for Social Awareness. F4L was recognised in using football to deliver experiential learning to children living in extreme poverty across the Philippines.
The award, which includes a winner's booth at the leading global ISPO EXPO in Munich, is the biggest platform for sports-based start-ups worldwide.
Since the year 2000, ISPO has searched and designated the most promising newcomers of the sports industry, and has been at the forefront of recognising organisations that are innovating sports for social impact. In response to the announcement, FundLife International's Programme Director, Marko Kasic said, “We are both surprised and excited that FundLife has been chosen as the winner of the award – we are aware of the global reputation ISPO has, and for FundLife to be selected is a testament to the amazing work our small team does every single day.”
FundLife will receive their award during the ISPO EXPO taking place on 5-8 February 2017, in Munich. For more information you may visit http://munich.ispo.com/en/ or email media@fundlife.org. ~
