FundLife Joins Linggo ng Kabataan with Futsal for Youth

On August 23, 2025, FundLife successfully held a one-day futsal clinic at Barangay Cabacungan, Dulag, Leyte, in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan. In partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Youth Development Office of Dulag, the activity gathered 26 children and youth for a day of play, learning, and personal growth.

The clinic introduced participants to the fundamentals of futsal — ball control, passing, dribbling, and shooting — with structured drills and mini-games designed to strengthen not only technical skills but also physical fitness, agility, and coordination. Coaches guided the players through practical exercises, creating a fun and supportive environment where children felt encouraged to try, practice, and improve.

Beyond athletic development, the clinic placed strong emphasis on values and life skills. Participants learned that futsal, like life, requires discipline, teamwork, and communication. They were reminded that confidence is built through practice and perseverance, and that every small improvement on the field is a step toward larger personal achievements.

For many of the children, this was more than just a sports session — it was a chance to discover new passions, connect with peers, and feel empowered to take on challenges with resilience. The supportive atmosphere fostered friendships, encouraged self-expression, and gave youth a safe space to dream and grow.
