On November 5th, The City of Tacloban and FundLife will deliver the 'Run to Remember', fun run and encourage everyone to join us in commemorating the 10th Anniversary of Typhoon Yolanda. The event bridges the gap between remembrance, climate change awareness, and a commitment to protecting our planet against extreme climate change.
The event gives the opportunity to honour the memory of the typhoon's victims, whose lives were forever changed. By walking or running, we remember and stand in solidarity with every person who was impacted by the devastating storm that hit Tacloban City on November 8th 2013.
The devastating impact of Yolanda reminds us of the urgent need to address climate change. This fun run raises awareness about climate-related challenges and the importance of sustainable practices. By participating, you will help us to 'Move for Life' and promote a greener and more vibrant planet for everyone.
The fun run will feature a 3k, 5k, 10k and 21k category, allowing everyone to participate by walking, running, and coming together to unite to remember and to move for a better tomorrow
Join us on November 5th for a day of unity, remembrance, and action. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against climate change and create a healthier world for all.
