They're BACK! PH Delegation's FIFA Festival Experience Fuels FFLA Progress

Tacloban City – After a series of leadership workshops, cultural immersion, football3 training and tournament, and other activities at the FIFA Foundation Festival, the Philippines’ FFLA delegation returns to Tacloban with a whole lot of knowledge and experience to share.

On 04 July 2018, Wednesday, the delegates landed in Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport in Tacloban City, marking the end of their 10-day from Tacloban to Moscow journey. This also marks the beginning of a more intensified FFLA programme as the months following their return will be dedicated to passing on what they learned from the festival.

Fresh from their Moscow trip and World Cup experience, the delegation serves as an inspiration to the thousands of other children from their respective communities to be dedicated and bold in the pursuit of their goals, as well, a reminder that hard work pays off, sometimes in the form of unforgettable memories and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

With the knowledge gained by FFLA coach and players, the FFLA Year 2 Implementation will have several additions to be more effective and progressive as the programme gears to go full steam to deliver experiential, play-based education through football.

FFLA Russia delegation: Yman, Daniel, Carl, and Coach Rhobs (Nilda not in photo) ) share their experience in Moscow to some of the players at the Mini World Cup Tournament held a few days after their return.
